ENDORSING TO THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT THE DRAFT PROCLAMATION ORDER ON A NATIONAL CENSUS MONTH

WHEREAS, a Mid-Decade Census of Population, the 1995 POPCEN, will be conducted in September 1995;

WHEREAS, a Presidential Proclamation declaring September 1995 as National Census Month, directing all government agencies to execute and implement the 1995 POPCEN plans and directives, and calling upon the citizenry to support and cooperate in the undertaking, would give added significance and promote the success of the 1995 POPCEN;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board endorse to the Office of the President the draft Proclamation Order entitled “Declaring September 1995 as a National Census Month” hereby marked as Annex 3 and made part of the Minutes.
