CREATION OF A CENSUS EVALUATION BOARD FOR THE 1995 MID-DECADE CENSUS AND FOR FUTURE POPULATION CENSUSES

WHEREAS, a Mid-Decade Census, the 1995 POPCEN, will be conducted in September 1995;

WHEREAS, a national budget has been appropriated by Congress for its conduct and the Department of Budget and Management has likewise approved the allotment in accordance with the budgetary plans submitted by the National Statistics Office;

WHEREAS, to ensure the reliability of the results of the 1995 POPCEN and future population censuses, the creation of a Census Evaluation Board is hereby recommended;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board approve the NSCB Memorandum Circular entitled “Creating a Census Evaluation Board for the 1995 Mid-decade Census and for Future Population Censuses, Providing the Guidelines and Other Purposes” which is hereby marked as Annex 4 and made part of the Minutes.
