ENJOINING ALL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TO SUPPORT THE SRTC AS REPOSITORY OF STATISTICAL MATERIALS AND
STATISTICAL RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS

WHEREAS, the Statistical Research and Training Center (SRTC) is mandated in Executive Order No. 121 to develop a comprehensive and integrated research and training program for the promotion of the Philippine Statistical System;

WHEREAS, a library is essential to the SRTC as research and training arm of the PSS and in the delivery of statistical services to the government and private sectors;

WHEREAS, the SRTC library is an avenue for the dissemination of statistical products and the establishment of linkages with data-producing institutions, data users and the academe;

WHEREAS, the SRTC library should be equipped with statistical materials and research publications which will be useful reference of statisticians, scientists, researchers as well as agencies and institutions;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board enjoin all government agencies to regularly provide the SRTC with a copy of all statistical materials and statistical research publications that are produced by their respective agency.

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that the SRTC be promoted as repository of statistical materials and statistical research publications.
