ADOPTION OF THE PILIPINO TRANSLATION OF THE NATIONAL STATISTICAL COORDINATION BOARD TO
“PAMBANSANG LUPON SA UGNAYANG PANG-ESTADISTIKA”

WHEREAS, the adoption of Pilipino as a medium of communication has been underscored in the past in various announcements and directives of some educators and legislators alike;

WHEREAS, there was a pronouncement to use Pilipino in all communications of the government machineries;

WHEREAS, in support of these orders, some government entities had adopted the Pilipino translation of their agencies’ names;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board approve the recommendation of the NSCB Technical Staff to adopt the translation of the agency name from English (National Statistical Coordination Board) to Pilipino to read “Pambansang Lupon sa Ugnayang Pang-Estadistika.”
