INCORPORATING THE GENERATION AND RELEASE OF SEASONALLY ADJUSTED SERIES IN THE LIST OF DESIGNATED STATISTICS PER EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 352

WHEREAS, the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) has established a system of designated statistics in accordance with its mandate that enables the identification and generation of the most critical and essential statistics required for social and economic planning analysis based on approved criteria;

WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 352 was issued on 1 July 1996 designating statistical activities that will generate critical data for decision-making of the government and the private sector;

WHEREAS, prior to the approval of said Executive Order, NSCB Resolution No. 6-94 was issued by the Executive Board designating the generation and release of seasonally-adjusted series on national accounts, palay and production prices and monetary aggregates;

WHEREAS, Section 4 of the same E.O. provides “that any modification, addition or deletion in the approved list of designated statistics shall be approved through a Board Resolution;”

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board affirm the incorporation of NSCB Resolution No. 6-94 in the list of designated statistics approved per E.O. No. 352
