ENDORSING THE ADOPTION OF THE POPULATION REFERENCE NUMBER

WHEREAS, Administrative Order No. 308 provides for the adoption of the Population Reference Number (PRN);

WHEREAS, the implementation of the PRN is envisioned to promote efficiency in the bureaucracy, facilitate government services and reduce, if not totally eradicate, fraudulent transactions and misrepresentations;

WHEREAS, the National Statistical Coordination Board recognizes the benefit that could be derived from the PRN;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board endorse the adoption of the PRN to the Office of the President.
