CALABARZON posted the highest per capita household spending in 2015 which grew by 7.6 percent. It was followed by NCR and Central Luzon which recorded 7.1 and 6.6 percent, respectively. 
 
Six regions posted accelerated growths for per capita household spending in 2015. CALABARZON recorded the highest acceleration with 4.5 percentage points. This was followed by: NCR, 7.1 from 2.7 percent; Bicol Region, 3.5 from 1.2 percent; Western Visayas, 5.4 from 3.9 percent; CAR, 3.1 from 2.1 percent; and Ilocos Region, 3.9 from 3.1 percent. The remaining regions exhibited decelerated growths: Zamboanga Peninsula, 2.0 from 5.7 percent; MIMAROPA, 1.7 from 3.9 percent; Davao Region, 4.7 from 6.8 percent; CARAGA, 0.3 from 1.5 percent, Central Visayas, 4.8 from 6.0; Central Luzon, 6.6 to 7.5 percent; SOCCSKSARGEN, 1.4 from 1.9 percent; Northern Mindanao and Eastern Visayas both grew by 2.3 from 2.5 percent; and Cagayan Valley, 2.4 from 2.5 percent;
 
NCR remained as the highest spending region on consumer goods and services at Php 1,230.0 billion or 23.4 percent of the national Household Final Consumption Expenditure (HFCE). Trailing behind are CALABARZON and Central Luzon at Php 853.3 billion and Php 646.1 billion, accounting for 16.2 and 12.3 percent, respectively to total HFCE.
 
CAR and CARAGA likewise continued to be the low spending regions at Php 85.6 billion and Php 84.4 billion, both contributing 1.6 percent to the total. ARMM was the least spending region for household consumption.
