CMRPI in NCR moved at its May 2021 annual rate

The CMRPI in NCR in June 2021 retained its previous month’s annual growth rate of 1.2 percent. This was also the same annual growth rate recorded in June 2020. (Tables A and 2)

The index of painting materials and related compounds exhibited a higher annual increment of 1.1 percent in June 2021.

Meanwhile, annual increases slowed down during the month in the indices of masonry materials at 1.1 percent, and plumbing materials, 0.6 percent.

The indices of the other commodity groups, namely: carpentry materials; electrical materials; tinsmithry materials; and miscellaneous construction materials retained their previous month’s annual growth rates. (Table 2)
