CMRPI in NCR continued to move upward in November 2021

Annual rate of CMRPI in NCR picked up further to 2.3 percent in November 2021, from 2.1 percent in October 2021. Its annual growth in November 2020 was recorded at 1.7 percent. (Tables A and 2)

Annual increments were higher in the indices of the following commodity groups in November 2021:

• Carpentry materials, and masonry materials, both at 1.4 percent;
• Electrical materials, 2.2 percent;
• Painting materials and related compounds, 1.9 percent;
• Plumbing materials, 2.9 percent; and
• Miscellaneous construction materials, 3.4 percent.

Meanwhile, annual uptick decelerated in the index of tinsmithry materials at 2.4 percent during the month. (Table 2)
