CMRPI in NCR retains previous month’s annual rate

The annual rate of CMRPI in NCR remained at 1.3 percent in September 2020. CMRPI in September 2019 posted an annual rate of 0.9 percent. (Table A and Table 2)

Higher annual increases were observed during the month in the indices of carpentry materials at 1.3 percent; plumbling materials, 0.9 percent and miscellaneous construction materials, 1.5 percent.

On the other hand, slowdowns in the annual mark-ups were recorded in the indices of electrical materials at 0.8 percent and masonry materials, 1.1 percent.

The indices of painting materials and related compounds, and tinsmithry materials both moved at their previous month’s annual rate of at 1.7 percent. (Table 2)
