03 December 2020 – QUEZON CITY. Undersecretary Dennis S. Mapa, Ph.D, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) with Unisys Officials received the 2020 ISG Paragon AwardTM for Asia and Pacific (APAC) in a simple Handover Ceremony held on 01 December at PSA Eton Centris Three Media Room. 

The ISG Paragon AwardsTM APAC gives recognition to the achievements of industry leaders across the globe.  Unisys together with PSA won in the Impact Category, which recognizes the impact of a client/service provider(s) relationship on a community for the modernization of the Civil Registry System (CRS).

The PSA, in partnership with Unisys, transform and modernize the CRS through digitization to improve access and increase the quality of turn-around time in the public service delivery of copy issuance of birth, marriage and death documents for various purposes such as passporting, employment, benefits claim, issuance of driver’s license and enrollment, among others.

The ISG Paragon AwardsTM APAC was awarded last August 2020 and accepted by Unisys.  The Handover Ceremony of the trophy to PSA was witnessed by officials, and employees from the agency, and the private partner company via videoconference.
