The volume of duck production in the third quarter of 2018 decreased by 0.97 percent compared with its production level recorded in 2017. During the period, the decline in the volume of production in Central Luzon contributed largely to the decrease in the total duck production.

The top three duck producing regions were Central Luzon, SOCCSKSARGEN and Western Visayas. These regions produced 2,740 metric tons, 912 metric tons and 769 metric tons of live ducks for dressing, respectively. These regions contributed 60.68 percent to the country’s total duck production.
