The Philippines ranks 18th out of 187 participating countries in the Open Data Inventory 2020 with an overall score of 73. The overall score is a combination of a data coverage subscore of 63, and a data openness subscore of 81.
Compared to the 2018 rankings, the country has advanced its rank from 41st to 18th, and improved its overall score from 58 to 73. Philippines also ranks second among Southeast Asian countries.
The Open Data Inventory (ODIN) assessed by Open Data Watch measures a country’s statistical offerings in terms of the completeness of its coverage and if these data meet international standards of openness.
