PhilSys

18 May 2021– Ayala Harbor Point Mall. Operations for the registration to the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) continue to expand as the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) establishes local registration centers in community shopping centers. On 18 May 2021, Ayala Harbor Point Mall opened its doors to registrants marking it as the third registration center within the Olongapo area.

The Harbor Point PhilSys Registration Center recorded 288 registrants on its opening day, and is open to serve Step 2 registrants everyday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. In collaboration with local government units (LGUs), the PSA is looking into more partnerships with other local malls to designate more registration centers.

Registrants should first complete their Step 1 Registration, and secure a schedule before visiting their designated registration center for Step 2.

PhilSys 2

The Step 2 registration, which involves validating a registrant’s demographic information and capturing their biometric information such as iris scans, fingerprints, and front-facing photographs, began on 08 January 2021 on a gradual, small-scale rollout. This registration step will soon be rolled-out in all provinces. Across all registration centers, the PSA ensures the strict implementation of standard health and safety protocols such as temperature check and filling out of health declaration form upon entry, the mandatory wearing of face mask and face shield, physical distancing, and disinfection of equipment after every transaction.
