The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will hold the 2^nd Philippine Data Festival (PH Data Fest) from 03 to 04 October 2023 at the Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila.

The 2nd PH Data Fest carries the theme “Harnessing the Power of Data and Statistics for a Future-ready Filipino and Filipina Youth”, emphasizing the ability to harness the power of data and statistics for empowering the Filipino and Filipina youth to create a future that is both bright and resilient in a time of rapid technological advancement and growing global concerns. Towards this end, it is hoped to impart a comprehensive awareness of the role that data and statistics play in formulating policies, evidence-based decision-making, and handling complicated problems.

In this two-day data festival, the PSA encourages the participation of students and professionals in their early career both in the public and the private sectors who are interested in statistics, data science and data analytics.

There will be two plenary sessions covering the following topics:

1. The Role of Data in Local and National Evidence-based Policy Making
2. The Future of Data: Current Trends in Big Data and Data Analytics

Meanwhile, 19 breakout sessions will feature topics on Macroeconomy and Finance, Health, Women and Gender, Education and Literacy, Poverty, and Population among others. In addition, there will also be open discussions, expositions, games (Vest in Stat), and contests (Data Reporting and Infographics Making).
