The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) now accepts registration of participants to the 13th National Convention on Statistics (NCS) to be held on 3-4 October 2016 at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City. 

 

Held every three years, the NCS is the largest gathering of statisticians, researchers, academicians, data users and other stakeholders of statistics to discuss, exchange ideas and recommendations relevant to recent emerging statistical challenges and developments in the country.  The two-day event will also be a venue for academicians, statistical practitioners and even students to present the results of their statistical researches and case studies. 

 

Through the years, the NCS has been a tool in strengthening the partnership and coordination between statisticians and other professionals in related fields from government, academe, private sector and international community towards a more responsive statistical system.
