Solid Responsive World-Class Authority on Quality Statistics and Civil Registration. This is the vision of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) which was launched during its National Planning Workshop on 10-11 December 2015 at the Heritage Hotel, EDSA, Pasay City. Along with its Vision was the adoption of its Mission which states “Deliver relevant, reliable statistics and civil registration services for equitable development towards improved quality of life for all”.

In her welcome remarks during the workshop, Dr. Lisa Grace S. Bersales, PSA National Statistician and Civil Registrar General encouraged the officials and employees of PSA to work together to actualize the vision and mission of the organization. She led them in reciting the PSA Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Corporate Personality during the closing ceremonies of the program. To show their commitment, all PSA officials at the central and field offices signed the commitment board.

The PSA crafted its vision and mission to signify its higher purpose of existence in terms of its value as a new statistical agency relative to its commitment to public service and relevance as the central authority in statistics in the country.

The formulation of the PSA’s vision and mission was finalized after a series of strategic planning workshop participated by its officials and staff from central and field offices. The strategic planning workshop was facilitated by its consultant, Dr. Dante M. Velasco. Aside from its vision and mission, the PSA has also crafted its agency core values and corporate personalities and introduced its agency logo and tagline.
