1. CPI of Food, Beverages and Tobacco (FBT): National Capital Region (NCR) and Areas Outside the National Capital Region (AONCR)
   

   The seasonally adjusted CPI of FBT in NCR picked up to 151.1 in July from 149.1 in June. Likewise, the seasonally adjusted CPI of FBT in AONCR increased to 153.2 in July from 152.5 a month ago.

   Prices of FBT for NCR and AONCR were pushed down by the seasonal factors in July.

   Compared to June, seasonally adjusted month-on-month inflation of FBT items in NCR went up to 1.3 percent in July from 0.5 percent. Meanwhile, in AONCR, seasonally adjusted FBT items decelerated to 0.5 percent this month from 0.7 percent the previous month.

2. CPI of Non-FBT Items: National Capital Region (NCR) and Areas Outside the National Capital Region (AONCR)

The seasonally adjusted CPI of non-FBT items in NCR and AONCR moved up to 174.7 in July from their respective June levels of 173.3 and 174.1. Prices of non-FBT items in NCR and AONCR were pushed up by the seasonal factors during the month.

The month-on-month inflation of the seasonally adjusted CPI for non-FBT items in NCR rose to 0.8 percent in July from 0.6 percent in June. On the other hand, prices of non-FBT items in AONCR remained at its June rate of 0.3 percent.
