1. Relative to their price levels in the first phase of September 2021 (01 to 05 September 2021), the average retail prices of a kilogram of special rice picked up by PhP 0.03 to PhP 4.32 in six trading centers during the second phase of September 2021 (15 to 17 September 2021). However, its average retail price per kilogram during the second phase of the month went down in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio City, Cagayan de Oro City and Kidapawan City. (Table 1)
2. The average retail price of a kilogram of pork with bones declined by PhP 2.25 to PhP 21.55 in six trading centers during the second phase of September 2021. On the other hand, its average retail price per kilogram during the period accelerated by PhP 10.24 in Butuan City, and by PhP 65.00 in San Fernando City (Region 1). (Table 2)
3. A kilogram of bangus was priced lower by PhP 4.12 to PhP 37.42 in six trading centers during the second phase of September 2021. Meanwhile, its average retail price per kilogram rose by PhP 7.73 to PhP 16.93 in five trading centers. (Table 3)
4. On the average, retail prices of vegetables decreased in many trading centers during the second phase of September 2021. (Table 4)
5. The average retail prices of a kilogram of Hawaiian ginger declined by PhP 2.50 to PhP 32.50 in six trading centers during the second phase of September 2021. On the contrary, its average retail price per kilogram during the period was higher in Baguio City, Cebu City and Kidapawan City. (Table 5)
6. Relative to their price levels in the first phase of September 2021, the average retail prices of a kilogram of carabao mango fell by PhP 4.73 to PhP 20.00 in four trading centers during the second phase of September 2021. On the other hand, its average retail price per kilogram during the period rose by PhP 2.69 in NCR, by PhP 20.00 in Cagayan de Oro City, and by PhP 42.53 in Cebu City. (Table 6)
7. Increments in the average retail prices of a kilogram of refined sugar, ranging from PhP 0.26 to PhP 8.51, were noted in six trading centers during the second phase of September 2021. (Table 7)
