Enhancement of the Gender Webpage in the PSA

Release Date:
Reference Number: 2022-410

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) wishes to report the enhancement of its gender webpage in the PSA website.  Its scope and content were expanded, and a new design was applied. The webpage now includes the Updated Philippine Core Gender and Development Indicators and the newly designed Annual Fact Sheet on Women and Men in pdf and excel forms, segregated by areas of concern. New features were also integrated in the webpage such as the compilation of gender-related publications, special studies, events and PSA Board Resolutions. In addition, the gender webpages of the PSA Regional Offices, which present regional estimates, indicators and infographics on gender, were also linked to the webpage. Furthermore, related links on important local and international websites were added for easy reference on gender statistics metadata, definition and indicator systems.

The Gender Webpage, which can be accessed through the link https://psa.gov.ph/gender-stat, includes compilation of gender data from the latest surveys, statistical reports, publications and infographic materials from designated official statistics and administrative data sources. It hopes to provide relevant and user-friendly information on gender issues that are deemed important to planners, researchers, and other users for evidence-based gender and development advocacy, planning, programming, and policy setting.
