PSA invites local civil registrars, solemnizing officers, academicians and stakeholders to register to the 1NCCRVS

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is inviting the city/municipal registrars, solemnizing officers, members of the academe, statisticians, and other stakeholders to take part of the 1st National Convention on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (1NCCRVS) that will be held on 01 to 03 September 2021 via video conferencing.

As there will be a maximum of only 1,000 participants that can be accommodated in  the virtual gathering, interested parties are encouraged to pre-register at tinyurl.com/1NCCRVSReg.

The reservation of slots is on a first-come, first-served basis and shall be open until 18 August 2021. The Working Group on Registration shall send a confirmation email to  the pre-registered participants. Once the maximum participation has been reached,  the registration will be closed.

The 1NCCRVS primarily aims to serve as a venue to inform its participants about the recent developments on civil registration and vital statistics in the country amidst the pandemic. Specifically, it seeks to: (1) provide knowledge on civil registration concepts, procedures, laws, policy issuances; (2) share best practices, experiences, and ideas on civil registration; (3) enhance data appreciation for vital statistics; and  (4) provide updates on Solemnizing Officers and Information System (SOIS), Civil Registration System Information Technology Project II (CRS-ITP2), and the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Registration.

The program for the three-day event also includes the presentation of awards to  Outstanding Local Civil Registry Offices in the country for the year 2020.
