SUBJECT:Adjustment of Timetable of Activities for the 2022 Nationwide Search for the Most Innovative Local Civil Registry Office for Civil Registration and Vital Statistics

Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1106 s. 2015 dated 20 August 2015 Declaring the Years 2015 to 2024 as Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) Decade in the Philippines, the Philippine Statistics Authority formally declared that the 2nd National Convention on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (2nd NCCRVS) will be held on 06 to 07 October 2022.

To create a platform for Local Civil Registrars during the 2nd NCCRVS, the Philippine Statistics Authority invited the Local Civil Registry Offices (LCROs) to participate in the 2022 Nationwide Search for the Most Innovative Local Civil Registry Office for Civil Registration and Vital Statistics wherein top three LCROs with the “Most Innovative and Best Practices” will have the chance to present their innovations during the convention.

With this, we would like to reiterate the Criteria for Proposal on Innovation with equivalent rating percentage as provided in the matrix below:

Innovation that significantly produced better, easier (simple, less complex), faster and customer focused civil registration; and30%
Innovation including best practices that is still being implemented for the past two to three years.10%

Further, the PSA Field Offices and LCROs are likewise informed that the Timetable of Activities for the 2022 Nationwide Search for the Most Innovative Local Civil Registry Office for Civil Registration and Vital Statistics was adjusted as provided below:
