The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) releases the highlights of the 30th National Statistics Month (NSM) celebration and conduct of the 14th National Convention on Statistics (NCS). The joint opening ceremony of the 30th NSM and 14th NCS held on 01 October 2019 and 30th NSM Closing Ceremony on 29 October 2019 were hosted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), respectively.

The 30th NSM carried the theme “Data Innovation: Key to a Better Nation.” The theme highlighted the importance of innovating statistical systems, processes and technologies in coming up with quality statistics – statistics that will be used by data users, especially planners, policymakers and program implementers who are in the best position to shape the future of the country and of its people.

The highlights include details on the joint opening ceremony of the 30th NSM and 14th NCS (and the 9th NSM Media Awards), conduct of the 14th NCS, closing ceremony of the 30th NSM (and the 29th NSM Awards), and the major interagency activities conducted at the national and regional levels.
