This Special Release highlights the results for Information Technology - Business Process Management (IT-BPM) sector based on the special tabulation done for the 2017 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) final results.

A lower annual increment of 0.5 percent was posted in the CMRPI in the National Capital Region (NCR) in November 2019. Higher annual rates were recorded in October 2019 at 0.7 percent and in November 2018, 2.6 percent.

The annual rate of increase of CMRPI in the National Capital Region (NCR) continued to move at a slower pace of 0.7 percent in October 2019. Higher annual rates were observed in September 2019 at 0.9 percent and in October 2018, 2.7 percent.

The annual increment of CMRPI in the National Capital Region (NCR) eased further to 0.9 percent in September 2019. Annual rates were higher in August 2019 at 1.1 percent and in September 2018, 2.7 percent.

The annual change of GRPI in NCR picked up by 1.0 percent in November 2019. In the previous month, the annual rate was recorded at 0.7 percent and in November 2018, 3.4 percent. (Table A and Table 2)

The annual increment of GRPI in NCR slowed down to 0.7 percent in October 2019. In the previous month, the annual rate was higher at 0.9 percent and in October 2018, 3.6 percent. (Table A and Table 2)

The annual change of GRPI in NCR moved up by 0.9 percent in September 2019. In the previous month, the annual rate was registered at 0.8 percent and in September 2018, 3.6 percent. (Table A and Table 2)

The annual increase of CMWPI in NCR slowed down further to 1.2 percent in December 2019. Its annual rate was higher at 1.4 percent in November 2019 and in December 2018, 5.7 percent. (Table A and Table 2)

The year-on-year change of GWPI at the country level picked up by 2.3 percent in November 2019. In the previous month, the annual rate was 2.0 percent and in November 2018, 1.9 percent. (Table A and Table 2)

The total number of constructions in the third quarter of 2019 reached 40,795 which reflects a decrease of 3.1 percent from the 42,111 total constructions in the same quarter of 2018.
