The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) successfully held the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System Review and Assessment in Caraga Region on 11 May 2023 at Del’s Hotel, Agusan del Sur.

Among the participants present in the activity were Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Deputy National Statistician Minerva Eloisa P. Esquivias, Regional Director Dr. Rosalinda C. Apura, Planning and Management Service OIC Director Clemente S. Manaog, Chief Statistical Specialists of Provincial Statistical Offices (PSOs) within the region, and other key personnel.

In his message, OIC Manaog emphasized the '3Ps' in every government undertaking – process, people, and pesos. The interplay of these three, according to OIC Manaog, informs the outcomes of huge projects such as the CBMS. He encouraged the workshop participants to see the bigger picture and shift their perspectives with regard to the flaws encountered in the 2022 CBMS. He emphasized that flaws should be used as a motivation to improve the next rollouts.

The CBMS Review and Assessment is aimed to gather valuable insights and observations of the participants on the 2022 CBMS Rollout. The said event also provided an avenue where comments and suggestions of CBMS key personnel can be freely shared and discussed for the continuous development and improvement of the CBMS standard protocols and procedures
