The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) announces the holding of the National Press Launch for the 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System on 09 July 2024 (Tuesday) from 10:30 AM to 12:00 NN. Members of the media are invited to attend onsite at the 24th Floor, PSA Headquarters, PSA Complex, East Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City, National Capital Region.

Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, PSA National Statistician and Civil Registrar General, and key government officials from the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Commission on Population and Development (CPD) will be the resource persons for the event.

Also, the Interagency Committee on Population and Housing Statistics (IACPHS) will participate, highlighting the collaborative efforts behind this initiative.

The National Press Launch will be livestreamed via PSA's official Facebook page. The hashtags to be used are #2024POPCENCBMS and #KasamaKaSaPagunlad.
